The Manzanilla olive variety is grown mainly in Seville, Huelva and Extremadura, although we find important productions in other provinces such as Toledo, Almeria. The Manzanilla variety is usually accompanied by a local surname, Manzanilla Sevillana from Seville and Huelva and Manzanilla Cacereña from Cáceres.

The Manzanilla variety is ideal for the production of table olives, because of its lower fat yield, but it can also be used for the production of olive oil.
