Organic oil refers to organic extra virgin olive oil. The production of organic products, also called organic or bio are products from organic farming. As a consequence, organic oil cannot have any chemical residues.
However, organic products are seen as an antithesis to conventional products, but increasingly conventional production is more similar to organic production.

1. Where to buy organic olive oil online?
Organic olive oils like other organic products can be found in a wide variety of places, from large supermarkets, in small shops to small specialized shops.
In our shop in El Cortijuelo de San Benito, in Las Rozas de Madrid or in our local store you will find a wide range of organic extra virgin olive oils from Jaén and other areas of Spain.
You can pick them up in the same shop, or we can take them to your home if you wish.
The large industry has entered this sector labeling many products as organic and taking more and more industrial processes, so this philosophy for large companies make sense to this type of healthy food and looking for a better care of the planet and our health.
2. Cooperatives and organic oil mills in Jaen and Cordoba
In organic production we have to be a little careful with what they sell us, because many of them sell us as organic products, but when I start researching the numbers don’t match. Producers of organic olives with spectacular production yields, organic products from other countries such as Turkey, organic oils that have been very poorly preserved, pasteurized organic honeys, etc..
From El Cortijuelo de San Benito we have selected organic producers of extra virgin olive oil who believe in this philosophy of natural life, producers who care for the environment and produce their products with the utmost meticulousness, producing high quality products.
Among the cooperatives we have selected, these are the following:
- Cooperativa de Trujal de Magina: The Trujal de Magina cooperative was the first ecological cooperative we have worked with. A very small cooperative located in Cambil in Sierra Magina, Jaén, bottling its organic extra virgin olive oil under the Verde Salud brand. This oil is protected by the Denomination of Origin of Sierra Magina.
- Almazara de Miluma: The Miluma olive oil mill is another small olive mill located in Cañete de las Torres in Córdoba, which supplies us with organic extra virgin olive oil with the same name, Miluma. We know this family very well and we take great care in the production of their organic olive oil.
- San Isidro de Segorbe Cooperative: The San Isidro de Segorbe Cooperative is located in Segorbe, in Castellón in the autonomous community of Valencia. This cooperative is one of the most recognized worldwide for the quality of its olive oils, awarding national and international juries numerous quality awards. It bottles its organic oil under the brand name Segorbe Nostrum.
- Cooperativa de Nuestra Virgen del Rosario: This cooperative is located in Algodonales, a beautiful village in the region of Sierra de Grazalema in the province of Cadiz.
