The Denomination of Origin includes the olive groves that are in the southern slope of the Cordillera Central. Between the steep slopes of the Sierra de Gredos and the pit of the river Tietar, and to the south with Hurdes and the Sierra de Gata. From here comes the oil of Gata-Hurdes.
