1. COOPERATIVES AND OIL MILLS OF ALMERIA
Almeria is a privileged place for the production of extra virgin olive oil which has the following peculiarities:
a) Climate
Almeria and its Cabo de Gata for possessing a landscape of incalculable beauty with its more than 100 km of coast. Its climate is privileged for the development of any activity with more than 3 000 hours of sunshine a year and with very constant temperatures, hot and dry summers and mild winters with little rainfall.
c) Varieties
Many varieties are produced in this area: arbequina, hojiblanca, picual and lechín. Also, Almeria, a province of Andalusia located in the southeastern corner of the Iberian Peninsula. This province is bathed by the calm Mediterranean Sea.
d) New harvest
Oils from Almeria are among the first to be produced in Spain, so in early November we usually have oils from Almeria from the new harvest. However, if you want to be sure of the harvest, we recommend that you call us.

2. The best olive oil from Almeria
Almeria stands out for its spectacular climatic conditions for the production of extra virgin olive oil. Almeria being the place in Spain with the longest hours of sunshine.
