Bluefin tuna was in danger of extinction a decade ago, but thanks to the efficient campaigns they have carried out in recent years, bluefin tuna has recovered enormously and we can often find it. The loin is located on the top next to the dorsal fin and is the largest part. Its fat content is lower than other parts of the tuna.
Bluefin tuna is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which helps our circulatory system and heart function well. It has a high content of high biological value proteins, vitamins and minerals. The vitamins are mainly of the B group; B2, B3, B6, B9 and B12.
An ideal preserve for the preparation of typical dishes of the Mediterranean diet, such as salad, empanadas, tartar, ceviche and other gourmet dishes.
