Reasons to use a stainless steel oilcan
The first is that if you hit it nothing happens to it, the second is that the stainless steel does not react with the oil and maintains very well the qualities of the olive oil and the third is that it is opaque, not penetrating the light inside, protecting the olive oil.
As with any other oil storage utensil, it is advisable to wash the oil containers once a year, as they may contain traces of older oils, and these deteriorated oils accelerate the oxidation of the rest.
