Properties:
The Extra Virgin Olive Oil in cosmetics provides many properties for its majority content of monounsaturated fatty acids, oleic fatty acid, essential fatty acids that do not synthesize our own body, Linoleic and Linolenic, and its minor components such as vitamins A, D, E and K, polyphenols, tocopherols, Oleocanthal, etc..
The fatty acids in extra virgin olive oil moisturize, lubricate and give elasticity to the skin, giving a smooth and youthful appearance to our skin. Vitamin E together with other antioxidants neutralizes the harmful effect produced by free radicals and other oxidizing agents in the external environment, reducing the aging of our skin cells.
The aloe vera already used by the Egyptians and called plant of immortality has numerous properties; it helps to cure sunburn, forming a protective covering in the epithelium, which moisturizes, nourishes and provides antioxidants, has anti-inflammatory properties and stimulates new cells by its hormones auxins and gibberellins.
