1. Properties of chocolates
In spite of the fact that gourmet chocolate has been frowned upon by nutritionists for its high calorific value and the large amount of saturated fats, new research now praises its consumption for its high content of antioxidants that favour heart care.

Among the most important properties of this product, we can name:

2. Types
The source of all chocolate comes from cocoa and cocoa butter. Depending on the amount of these products contained in the chocolate and others that are added to it, we will have different types of chocolate.
- Dark:It contains at least 60 % cocoa. This can have different graduations up to 99%. The higher the percentage of cocoa the healthier the chocolate will be.
- With milk: Dark chocolate to which milk fat has been added. These are less healthy, as they contain less cocoa and are softer at the same time.
- With nuts: Chocolate which some type of nuts have been added, such as: hazelnuts, almonds, nuts, etc..
The chocolates are in the end products made from different types of chocolates, with more elaborate fillings and finer decorations.
Normally we do not have chocolates in our shop, but with the arrival of Christmas, sometimes we expand our product range and we can bring different delicious chocolates.

In the market there are many artisans and companies that make it, among all of them we have selected a small artisan who makes chocolate of the highest quality following a recipe from centuries ago. Our chocolate artisan comes from Toro, a village in Zamora.

None of the chocolates we have have palm oil.

We have 99% cocoa chocolate, but not 100%. What we can supply is pure cocoa powder.

It is recommended to have a maximum of 15 to 20 grams of dark chocolate, that is more or less one or two ounces of chocolate.
